V5 Slamdunk & Futsal Fiesta 2012

    On 1 December 2012, Village 5 Student Representative ( V5SR ) had a semester event which is Slamdunk and Futsal Fiesta. This is our first events related to sports. Since the events were the most famous sports in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS ( UTP ), the participation from all students were high including the international students. The objectives of V5 Slamdunk and Futsal Fiesta were to build sportsmanship among UTP students, improve management skills among V5SR committee and to build bonds between UTP students and V5SR committee.

    We started our event at 8 o’clock; the participants arrived at V5 court to register their teams. Each teams consist of 5-8 person. At 8.30 in the morning, all the teams were gathered together to have a short briefing by our Project Manager (PM). Then, by 9 o’clock the game started.

     All players give their full support on this event by fighting all-out in each of their game. We were very proud because of their sports spirit. We also do our best in managing these fantastic events and will try to improve our management in events from time to time. We also did some business by selling soft drink to participants and supporters.
